The Exporters' Association of Sri Lanka (EASL) which is an approved Association of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce held its 23rd AGM on 30th July, 2020 at 3.00 p.m. as a Virtual Meeting connected through Microsoft Teams. Mr. Chrisso de Mel of Hayleys PLC was re-elected as the Chairman for EASL whilst Mr. Talal Shums re-elected as the 1st Vice Chairman and Mr. Ranil Goonetilleke elected as the 2nd Vice Chairman. The EASL's mission is to promote and protect the interests of the Exporter Community at large and this has brought together a wide spectrum of Exporters under a strong single platform aimed at exchanging views and making representation on Macro issues relevant to the country's Exports.
